Photographer’s Note

Taken from Lake Yamanaka, the largest of the Fuji Five Lakes. It was awesome because one gets a completely unobstructed view of this glorious mountain.

This is superb brilliant pov and great dof. I like the cloud that seems to be moving from the left and looks slightly like a dragon imho. TFS

this is great, I like this view of Fuji from the lake, I have in my gallery a picture of Etna volcano so similar to your photo. My best congratulations.

Hello Adrian,

Well composed and good soft color tone!
It seems that this photograph was taken from the place called "Hirano" in Lake Yamanaka. I like light color to feel the start of spring. And,
I think that the cloud that has expanded from the left end of the screen at the center gives good effect for the whole.

Truly magnificent. Seing Fuji-san like this reminds me exactly of how I first experienced it. I was travelling past it on my way to Kyoto last May, but unfortunantly I was too overcome with a long flight and jet-lag to actually manage to bring my camera to bear...
But then I find this... and I feel I've been to the location again. Thank you ! :)

Overall the photo looks to be of good quality. Maybe abit lacking in colours to bring the full splendour of Fuji, but with the distance in mind I can understand why it is so.
If anything was to be improved I would suggest a little more contrast.
