Photographer’s Note
After coming to Japan, it had always been my dream to climb Mt. Fuji. This August, I could finally make it to the top of the highest and the most sacred mountain in Japan. We had a great time going up the rocky path of the Mt. Fuji. As Mt. Fuji is a volcanic mountain it has no vegetation at all. All it has is red and black volcanic rocks. The mountain is open for climbing in the month of August. During other months this mountain is usually covered with snow and is too dangerous for amateur climbers.
This shot is taken at around mid height of the mountain. Some greenery can still be seen here.

Hello Rabin,
I like very much the diagonal structure in your composition, the earthy colors of the great mountain, agains the blue backdrop of the sky. Here is from one legendary mountain, Vesuvius, to another.
Warm regards,

Hello Rabin
Again I am admiring your photos of Mt Fuji and notice that although they were posted over a year ago there are few smiley faces. My photos of Mt Fuji had a similar response. I can't remember this specific bend in the upward track but it does bring back memories. The diagonal slope cutting the photo in 2 and the sharpness all make this a nice composition. TFS, Marlene
