OK this is the last shot of this shinkansen conductor peering out of the train checking that the passengers are clear. it's also the last shot I'll post of this train trip. Now I can move on to other photos. For more of thip trip, click the travelogue link on the left.

I like a lot the way you composed the image, making the face stand out against the white background. It almost looks surreal, like a copy and paste job, because of the angle. This being said, the sharpness should have been much better - it is quite obvious that you had to crop a lot in order to bring the face closer. Looking at the original image, it seems that the conductor was not in focus to begin with.

Of course his job is not really easy when you know the shinkansen train ! I love his soooo serious look ! Nice catch !

You are a good train photographer. Although I like the one from last night a bit better, this crop is also interesting.
