June 18th: lastly we arrive at the hotel, a typical japanese hotel ryokan. We go inside our room, and I have a look through the window. Yes we are on the good side, the lake side, witht he Fuji-san in background. This time I see It. I take my camera and take some pictures...

Allez vous grimper là haut faire un reportage digne d'Haroun Tazief ? ... A suivre...
Je me souviens de vos belles images précédentes sur les volcans.
Les couleurs sont bien saturées à l'avant plan, le voile atmosphérique agit progressivement au fur et à mesure que le regard se dirige vers la montagne apparamment calme.

C'est impressionnant comme montagne et en plus la photo le rend bien. J'aime bien la composition avec les barques qui donnent un peu de couleur à l'ensemble. Sans oublier le petit nuage qui apporte de la profondeur à l'image.

What an incredible sight, Jacques. The hazy eternal mount Fuji (is -san a addition used out of respect?) as a glorious backdrop to the brightly coloured boats. Expertly framed & captured. Great job & thanx for sharing!

Et en plus, il faisait meilleur que pendant le trajet en avion... Les barques en avant plan ajoutent beaucoup à la photo. Très bien cadré également. Bravo!

Dis donc t'est rentré dans l'eau pour faire cette photo ?
Car j'ai l'impression que tu est presque au niveau du lac.
Je trouve la composition très réussie avec ces barques au premier plan qui donnent une bonne notion de profondeur.

Un volcan célèbre. J'aime surtou ta photographie à cause de l'avant plan,cette mer avec ces barques sont splendides. Pour la critique, je trouve dommage ts signature dans l'image. Amicalement\jr

Wow ! Très impressionnant comme vu, une belle symétrie de cette montagne, belle profondeur sur le lac, on a l'impression que vous êtes également sur le lac dans une chaloupe, l'angle est super, bravo pour cette composition très bien réussi.

Great picture, the composition with the small houses and the big Fuji-san in background, give great perspective, good color and contrast in picture.

A nice view towards mount Fuji, Jacques, one of the most impressive hotel room views I've seen. Lucky you! The low angle across the water with the hazed mountain is very good and so is the cloud hanging there. Also the inclusion of boats is good and helps create perspective. The boat to the left is cut, but I think that's a minor detail. Moving the camera a couple of degrees left would have avoided that and at the same time off-centered the mountain top. I understand your excitement - this is an exceptional mountain. Well done.

Unbelievably impressive mountain/volcano! It is SO high! I love the cloud, not even hiding its top, but somewhere even closer to its middle! TFS, I have never seen any like view of this! It is also good to see the objects on the foreground to make the comparison.
