Kawaguchiko Station Photo

Photographer’s Note

My first post about a series on Kawaguchiko:

This is the train station in Kawaguchiko, about 3 hours from Yokohama. In Kawaguchiko there is a
very beautiful lake sorrounded by mountains and with beautiful trees along the path that sorrounds the lake. It is possible to hire small boats. Many people
come here to view the Fuji Mountain or enjoy the great view of the lake. In the station there is a nice cafe. A wonderful place to escape the big city
area of Yokohama for a day and enjoy a walk.

The photo I took in the evening with polarisation filter. The sun is in 90 degree angle (right side).

Hi Mike!
You travel a lot and this is a good shot from a country I would like to visit(but too expensive......)Good shot of this trainstation ,great depth and good colorcontrast.I think it`s not easy to find such an empty platform in Japan.
