This photograph was taken on the Itō seashore in Shizuoka Prefecture. The Itō seashore is located in the easternmost tip in Izu Peninsula facing Sagami Nada. Although shore protection works are carried out and the seashore of the central part is flat, a southern part has much seashore of a violent rock surface, since the lava of the eastern Izu volcanic group flows in. Many anglers were in the seashore. I saw that several sets of local children were playing on the other hand on the seashore. It seems that playing with the wave which rolls in in this way is connected with a most important feeling of opening for a child like this photograph even if there is no playing tool. One white boat lay in the sands.

Nice taken the moment, Mikio.
Children play looks amazing on photo, and your POV must had beren somewhere on the jetty, above water, I assume.
Black volcanic soil is notable, not regularly seen on shores.
Enjoy a nice weekend,

Excellent snapshot, taken from very good higher angle viewpoint. I like the arrangement with the girls in foreground and the white boat and part of staircases in BG. Well framed in portrait format.
Very well done.
