六軒道路の南側、新川を挟んだ北田町のこの辺りは、1950年代からの飲屋街でした。小料理屋が軒を並べ、近くにある日本楽器、本田技研の社員が駅まで歩く道すがら、勤めの帰りに引っ掛っていたところです。当時の常連客も次第に世を去り、オネーサンたちも引退して、今では静かな住宅街というところです。
From 1950s through to 1960s, Kitatamachi in the Hamamatsu down town had been one of the relaxing quarters for the work force of industries which was rapidly modernizing at that time.
Minutes walk from Honda HQ and Yamaha HQ, across Rokken Doro and over Shinkawa, the area used for mostly residential today as the customers gone and girls retired.
