Photographer’s Note
This will be the last post from my trip to Japan (for now) and i thought it fitting to end it with a view over the paper factory where i took the men at work pictures that I uploaded earlier.
Again the little Ixus camera, and no PP except for the frame.

Olá Harry, great vantage POV and very nice graphic result. So many nice details and geometric shapes to discover here, starting with the blue crane and giantic cylinders...The best for me are the sunny red chimneys contrasted against the threatening sky. This tilted pole in FG is a bit distracting although it also gives an extra depth. If it was on the other corner it would be much better. Excellent work.

Hi Harry, That is an excellent high POV and good choice of vertical frame. The good light hitting the factory makes it contrast nicely on the stormy dark sky. Specially the red and white chimneys add also some colors. Sharp as it should be
Good work

An interesting industrial mood, in a clear (and I could say pure) light... Produces a strong mood contrast.
Well done.

Harry,
exquisite POV and theme. Certainly not the usual here at TE and yet part of our daily life even if we don't like it and try to ignore all the huge industrial plants with their pollution. Standing up there really made the difference. Not quite sure if that diagonal metallic structure in the left corner foreground helps or not. It certainly gives the feeling of safety and DOF, but on the other hand it obstructes partially the view. I can't decide praising or critiquing it. ;-)
The colors and mood are simply great! Curious to see that you didn't get more critiques on this eye graber.

Hi Harry,
I like this one. The composition, shapes and colors are very graphical even if I would have increased the sharpness a little bit.
Cheers

What I like about your gallery Harry is you upload daily images of your working environment that most of us would never get to see. This one could be on the cover of a magazine for the construction industry it's that good. Shame about the crane poking in on the left but not too big a distraction.
