Onbashira-Matsuri(Matsumoto) is the traditional festival of the Iriyamabe Miyanohara Shrine performed every 7 years.
in it people pray using holly tree, they cut down one tree from the mountain, and carry by pulling it through the forest and then on the road to shrine, at last they stand it on the ground in shrine.
this shot is taken on the way to shrine in this big event there.
