Photographer’s Note
This was taken in the Japanese alps, near Kamikochi.
The Japanese Alps, located in the major island of Honshu, encompass the Hida Mountains, the Kiso Mountains, and the Akaishi Mountains. These towering ranges include several peaks exceeding 3,000 m in height, the tallest after Mount Fuji.
The mountains are teeming with life, and even the butterflies are used to photographers and their annoing macro lenses.
This one kept on sipping from the flowers no matter how close I got to it...
