Superbe prise de vue de ces deux singes qui semblent dans un beau moment de tendresse. Les couleurs sont très belles et la netteté excellente. Bien fait.

very nice the view of the snoe monkeys and intimate brothres in the water with the close up view to be very successful.
I like the good presentation as the light and the colour management of the scene.

Very beautiful with only their heads above water and with the reflections.
I read that these monkeys survive in the cold climate thanks to their bathing in the hot springs. But somewhere else I read that these animals only go into the water because tourists throw food in it. Do you know if this is true ?
Best regards, Paul

What a charming post in your gallery! The snow monkey series is absolutely impressive and I love it! I wish to see these great animals in their natural environment one day... Excellent image, a perfect execution as always!

Such cute little animals, another great scene in this series. As always taken with your skill in depth of field. Their little red faces look superb against the deep blue of the water.
All the best

Hello dear Takero
Terrific clos shot with great dof. Some blur and noise, but the effect is most charming. Great piece of work.
Cheers from Antwerp

I love your snow monkeys! This time it is portrait of two pals whose heads are sticking out of the water. Very pretty and full of charm and well composed. The colors are lovely balanced. Very good DOF.
Thanks for sharing

You really made me miss Japan now! Have you seen my photo from Jigokudani:
I like the way the two snow monkeys interact in your image. The reflections and differential focusing add artistic feel to it.

You have a wonderful series about these monkeys, what a pity Japan is so far away:)! This is something I would really like to see. A very good portrait with good focus and reflections. I always like their expressions!

Good evening Takero,
WOW! I love this shot. The shallow depth of field giving that great bokeh effect and the sharpness and rich detail. Simply exquisite. I would absolutely love to see these guys for real although I am really not a wildlife photographer at all. I can understand your sadness at only visiting once. I can imagine every visit would be splendid in capturing different subjects and interactions as you have so skilfully shown here.
unclehotshot (3999) 2014-09-21 23:41
This is my 1st visit to your gallery. It's impressing. I see you like ceremonies and traditional scenes. Then you have this shot of the monkeys having a bath; I think it's a reaaly great shot. It shows not only an unusual situation but it's also a portrsit of the 2 animals having a relationship.
The light, colors and frame is super too.
