This was taken 2 years before and already posted several ones. But when we have snow in Tokyo, I remember this impressive festival and would like to post agin another shot. 5 demons perform and beat the drum so fircely on the cold beach in heavy snow gfalling.

Very impressive image Takero made more exciting with the performance taking place with the snow falling around - this adds a mystical feel to the photo.
Well spotted & taken - Excellent clarity & the soft colours are very nice especially with the splashes of black on the performers dress.

Hello Takero - I enjoyed this series previously so am pleased to see another from the winter festival. I think the snow adds tremendously to the atmosphere. The man with mask and wild hair seems to lift his arms in an attempt to change the weather! Super shot. Warm regards Rosemary

Konichiwa Takero san
This reminds me somehow of our carnival that is due to start tomorrow.
Quite a hardy man to to brave the heavy snow in that light dress. But again a wonderful example of the many great festivals in Japan, I really enjoy to learn about them all trough your photos.

Lots of great elelemts to your capture here, the mask is fantastic, and that you have caught the demon in pose as he beats the drum like this really great. I really like how you have managed to capture the flakes of snow in mid fall too, adding a great sense of the moment and the cold to the shot! Really nicely done.

Hello Takero. Winter Festival. Winter is not an obstacle for celebrations of all kinds The drummer has a nice pose in the moment of being photographed. The impressive mask is a special addition. Overall, a great shot.

The falling snowflakes adds lots of atmosphere to this splendid image. I like the outstetched arms of the demon and his position within the frame. The shallow DOF is excellent giving a non-distracting BG.

I remember the others and this is also a great one. They are really impressive portraits - the poses, the masks, the falling snow... They must be very cold dressed that way.
