Photographer's Note
Back to "Kaze no bon" again. The chacteristic of this dance is "elegance" and "modesty", I think. Compared with other dances, for example "Awa Odori", the tempo of dance and rhythm is very very slowly. Accordingly, the image seems to get more "elegance" and "modesty". After each session, all dancer take this pose.

Hello Takero,
This is beautiful, but where is the face. I can imagine that it is also beautiful. Great light, perfect focusing, clarity and luminosity. Very well done!!!

Hello Takero,
A pity that we not see the face, but this is perhaps a part of the dance.
Composition and presentation are excellent taken.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John

Hello dear Takero,
a lovely picture that captures the grace and elegance of the costume and of the dancer's bow. The hat offers a beautiful shape to the composition and a delightful sense of mystery. It's very interesting that we can "see" the bending head behind the hat thanks to the great depth and sharpness of the capture. We even know the dancer's expression from her "elegant and modest" movement. The lighting and the colours are superb. Well done and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,
Ourania

Hello Takero,
I don't understand comments that underline your choice of not showing the face; this is what brings so much enigma and a sense of spirituality.
It's beautiful, meaningful and your note explain exactly your approach about this brilliant image.
If all images were showing smiling faces, photography would be a very boring discipline, where creativity would be limited and all photos would be similar... Some people don't have the least sense of esthetic, of innovation, of looking at thing from a different angle.
Conformism is killing the passion.
I salute your work Takero, very personal and stylish. The light is awesome.
Cheers!
André

Hi Tekero
Excellent dof and composition. The colors are so vibrant and I think the hidden face adds a touch of mystery to your photo.

Hi Takero,
It is an intriguing image, I guess the modesty is in that the girl has her face completed covered by the hat. It does create a very strange and mystical feeling. Again, you have excellent colour, depth and composition, thank you!
best wishes
Noel

Light, colors and cotrast are great here and it`s an interesting composition seeing this unique hat instead of her face.Good contrast with the blurred background and nice " praying" hands.

Hello Takero,
An unusal but very elegant dress and a very elegant woman wearing it. A well exposed photo with a suitably blurred background.
Kind regards,
