Photographer's Note

Detail of a wall in Nagoya, all the more striking on account of the drab grey color tones which are far more common. At lop left is a solitary ventilation window. The wall is part of a pachinko parlour. Pachinko is a cross between a pinball machine & a slot machine & very popular in Japan. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pachinko
