Tsurumai Park 2007 Photo

Photographer’s Note

This picture was taken less than 2 months ago, I am slowly getting back to the swing of things here in Japan. sorry for the absence.

Well, I decided to choose this picture because it shows peace and tranquility, a place where we all need when times are stressful.

It was relaxing the day I went to have lunch, I also got a tan too.

The day was extremely warm and the amount of different people that pass through the park was just wonderful, you get the young workers pushing the elderly in wheel chairs and they are all happy and giggling which was great to see.

Theres also a place in the park for dog lovers and all the dogs are dressed in skirts and even have shoes, but I am not too sure if the dogs like what they wear, but then again I dont think they have much choice.

The homeless people are in the park and usually enjoy a good game of Japanese chess under the tress int he shade and Mah Jong.

Goo compo with focus on the bougainvillea bush and nice typical japanesse scene in BG bokeh, great colors and framing

Hi Dan, I hope you are well and things are going okay getting settled again in Nagoya. Nice use of shallow DOF here to isolate the colorful foreground flowers, and still retaining enough detail of the pleasant Japanese bridge with people in the background. Nice lighting.

Beautiful garden. Very nice shot with interesting foreground. Purple flowers are sharp. Background with blured bridge is very impressive too. Well done!

Hi Dan, The strong pink flowers in the foreground are beautiful & superbly highlighted, the blurred background is perfect, yet still visible, a very well composed photo, kind regards Wilson.

Beatiful place Dan. Good capture with the focus on the flowering rhododhendron and the blurred details of the bridge in the back. Fine way to present this park.
