This shot was kind of accidental, because I was just going to take a picture of the pigeons on top of the roof type object, but suddenly coming out from no where, this beautiful things lands with its wings of white angels.
So I thought I would post it.
I was really just sitting down trying to enjoy the Japanese garden here and I had this opportunity which just happened to happen
I hope you like it, I know it is another different short from the Norm

The motion blur of the pigeon is SUPERB. You had to get lucky eventually.

Wow - you really did post a pigeon shot! I thought you were joking in your last note.
You captured this pigeon at a great moment - the 'white' of the feathers is beautiful. The other one looking directly down is hilarious. Well done.
Maybe we should create a 'pigeon' theme.

With the photo sunday with the pigeons of Norbert Wohenl this one could be the start of a new theme with the same title of your beaiful and full of action picture. Could be? No it will be!
P.S No, only now I realize that ORME had the same idea. So: ubi maior, minor cessat

A good idea to post it Daniel! I like it because it gives a lot of dynamic to the picture. And very good timing indeed, because one of them on the roof seems to look at the one which is landing. That's a nice one!

Great and funny capture Dan - The setup and composition nice and the pigeon add extra to the image. Specially the flying bird and hes "wife" looking after him - I agree with your title - very well spotted.

Great moment you had captured here, Daniel! The wings are nicely blurred. You could create a new post and solely focus on the landing pigeon... :)

Quite an action shot here, Dan ;-) I like the strong motion blur on the landing pigeon, and the one pigeon on the "roof" seems to give a funny look down to where this scene is occurring. Fun shot, very detailed, well done.

I like this, catching a bird as it is landing, it contrasts with the others at rest.

Trés bon sa cette image a beaucoup de vie et l'effet de flou lui accentu plus cet impression.
Image interessante et agreable a regarder.
Bien vu Daniel

Gorgeous capture of the wings in motion, Daniel! The pigeon looks to me like a landing little angel. :-) This shot is just great!!

It is a nice shot. Great random capture. The motion blur is really nicely captured. And your title fits it perfectly. The ones on top really seem to be saying hey, where are you going? I wouldn't be surprised if after this several more went down there to see what that one was down there for. Maybe the only thing I would suggest would to have a shallower depth of field on a shot like this to get less focus in the back. But obviously this was a spur of the moment shot. Very nicely done.
