[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken at the biggest bowling rink in the Prefecture of Aichi-ken, as you might or might not have known, I love bowling and one of my friends in Japan took me to his hometown and he said here is the biggest Bowling place in this prefecture and I was amazed because it boasted a 100 lanes, so I joked with my friend, I said do they have 100 people standing behind the lanes setting up the pins after each bowl? he laughed.

Well, when we got there, half of the place was curtained off, but after an hour they opened it up and I was almost running tot he end of the place to take this photo

I hope you like it

This is a very impressive perspective that you capture here! Good point of view, it gives an atmosphere of science fiction movies. This place could have been use to shoot one of the star wars !

Hi Dan,
A very graphic play with lines,patterns and repititions.Very well composed and executed.
Greetings,
Hermann

Hi Dan

I haven't been to a bowling alley in years. Ilike the diagonal axis & repetition of the lines. Marvellous use of vanishing point & diminishing linear perspective. Great sharpness & lighting. Tfs!

Hi Dan,
for us that live where bowling is not such a popular sport/pastime, this is an amazing view!
Cheers,
Robi

Hi dan,

What an amazing shot. Really well done with the diagonals that make the bowling alley looks like it goes on forever. Super light and sharpness for an interior photo.
For an amateur of bowling like yourself, that must have a really fun place. I have never seen one of this size!

Have a good day - Paul

hi dan;
this is a great work - i love obviously the repetirions and how the place is clearly abandoned but i like the way you presented us with the immense size of the place: showing tiny people at the far end;
great work;
best wishes, jerzy

Good perspective shot from the bowling alley, Dan, 100 lanes is a huge one and your photo indeed seems to suggest an almost infinite expanse of it. The ant-sized people in the distance enhance the feel quite nicely.

Hi Dan,
What a very great perspective through you chose a excellent angle, also the horizontal and vertical lines are very amazing.
You did good with this picture.
Have a nice day.

Wow, Dan, What a view. Nice capture of the perspective view and repetition patterns. Good depth and nice sharpness.

Wow Dan that place is huge! Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined somebody would have built a 100 lane alley. The depth and repeating lanes are well captured. Tfs Dan!!

Hi Dan, thanks for showing this long bowling rink. Good view point and the TVs, lights and lanes make a good and repeative design.

Impressive perspective (with no end !), beautiful design composition. You had quite a bad light but you succeeded in composing a beautiful shot.
Very well done.

Hi Dan,
Superb lines and graphics characterize this shot, and the clarity is amazing. Most of all I like the symmetry. A very artistic rendering.
John

Hi Dan,
Excelent angle of view with graphic vision. A simphony of linear diagonal perspectives and repetitive patterns so well captured and framed. The enquadrement is perfect and the picture is clearm with good colors, light and excelent sharpness. Very well seen, done and composed.

Congratulations and Best Regards.
Fernando

Well, with your handle, you just had to post this eventually:-) Nice use of repetition as usual.

Hi Dan,
Great repetition in these image. At first I thought it was an unbelievable amount of diving boards, but than I saw that it is an unbelievable large bowling hall. Great POV in the image.
Groet Rob

Nice perspective and repetitive pattern Daniel, the TV on top gives also good details along wiht the alley, good work.
