Sakura & Float #4, a photo from Aichi, Chubu

Photographer's Note

After a short break inside the shrine, the float were carried in front of main shrine in order to get the purification. There were many small gravel on the ground, so the participatnts struggled to drive the float very much.

Wonderful light and colour. The blossom on the trees is particularly attractive and is a nice contrast to the strong colours of the float.

Also the scene like from Karatsu - puling big floats on the sand or gravel to make it even more hard. Wonderful sakura trees, japan must look fabulous now.

This festival had beautiful to be surrounded by blooming cherry trees. Rose colour these flowers is amazing, and the walls red wagon with richly decorated , until they beat us in the eyes. Colossal picture quality.
