The sun seeping through Photo

Photographer’s Note

This was taken in Gamagori, in the southern part of Aichi Prefecture in Japan.

I took this because the sun was shining through the clouds and right on top of this lovely mountain in the sea, I couldnt snap enough of the scene, but after snapping away, the view soon dissappeared

Gamagōri is situated on the coast and within the bay of Mikawa. There are many industries in the area, Denso, Yamahachi Dental, Nidek among others, and there is also a large fishing community and a tall statue of Koyasu Daishi on mount Kobo over looking the waterfront. The city is home to the Lagunasia amusement park.

A beautiful seascape with those dark clouds and the sun adding a great lighting and lovely colours to the sky. Good inclusion of the silhouettes of the small islands in the foreground. Thanks for sharing!

Hello Dan,

Pink colours and lovely clouds to the sky are the most beautiful ingredients for a wonderful picture.
Also, the sun shine between the clouds are for a good composition and care for to a attractive picture.

A peaceful atmosphere well conveyed with the silhouetted islands and the sunrays fanning down from the sky. The soft colors are nice too.
