Fishing for small fish
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
From the beach the fisherman peered just beyond where the waves rise up as they meet the shore. He walked up and down the beach until he saw his quarry, then quickly gathered his net and hurled it and himself with it towards them. I watched for a while. He caught a few fish , about 10cm long, hardly seemed worth the effort.

Hi Steve, nice capture of the fisherman in Indonesia. This really is his daily life we're seeing here, it's a great perspective. The stopped action with the net flying out and the arms extended like that works very well and I like the tall square crop, it gives him some room to fish in.
Thanks, John
The classic shot of a man casting his fishing net. Youve captured it at the perfect moment, and also framed his well at the same time.
Great work!
Dave
Hi Steve, I like this daily life action shot, very well frozen, nice colour & detail. reading your note my first thought was I wonder if he thinks it's worth the effort.
We are neighbours, maybe one day we can catchup & have chat, drink, take some shots.
Thanks
Santo
