Hallo Nino. Schildkröte, Madonna mit Kind, Junge. Was für ein ungewöhnliches Bild. Eigentlich sind es zwei Bilder, - die Holzschnitzereien und der Junge auf der Schildkröte. Hier sind sie zusammengeführt zu einem Motiv. Natürlich ruht der Blick letztlich auf dem ernst blickenden rot-blau gekleideten Jungen. Nun könnte man ausführlich über die Körpersprache des Jungen schreiben. Die linke Hand stützt sich auf den Kopf der Schildkröte, die rechte ahmt vielleicht das Photographieren mit einer Kamera nach; in der Photopsychologie wird häufig das Verhalten des Photographen nachgeahmt. Wie auch immer, das Photo ist ausdrucksvoll, etwas rätselhaft und sehenswert. Ein guter Schuss. Viele Grüße, Wolfgang.

Hello Nino
Fine one, with the lovely woodwork in display & his innocent face. Looks like you captured him just as he was about to suck his thumb! The WS crop is very effective, but not very sharp, or maybe has a slight motion blur. So ambience & mood & portrait, I prefer this

A lovely portrait Nino and nicely framed. He has a very reflective look in his eye. Is that a Catholic image beside him? Have those Western missionaries been active even in beautiful Bali? The sings of Western domination are everywhere. regards kevin
