Silhoutte of a dancing girl....
Is it real or not ???
The answer is up to you...imagine it !!

This picture was taken few days ago at a Japanese's Resto near Senayan City, South Jakarta.
I like the colours combination between red, green background and of course the dark silhoutte of the girl.

Hi Daniel,

Fabulous shot! This is incredible, the gentleness, the feminity, the silhouette... Wow!

I particularly like the light on her back, with lace motifs, the sticks in her hair and her lashes. Gorgeous!

Yeah, I like the red and green color combination as well. The light is also great. It almost looks like a photograph of a painting. Is that what you meant by "Is it real or not???"

Very nice graphic effect. Seems to me everything was on the wall. Were you aware of the Japanese characters in the background, the wording "hoka hoka bento - hot (and heartwarming) lunch box"... to me, your word "is it real or not" particularly applies to that spot. -K.

Great shot Daniel!!! Love the layering of red and green colors with the silhouette of the woman in front. Composition is excellent. Really good...I also like the layers of patterns referring to womans laced back on top of the chinese symbolled red on top of the floral green.

I love this! The light shining through the fabric creating a wonderful mood and softness. Great details such as the lettering and flower motifs on the contrasting colurs of green and red. Her silhouette and posture are perfect with only a slight bit of light illuminating her from behind.

This is a great picture! I agree, I also like the contrasting colours here. Your composition is perfect! I really like how she is a silhoutte here but I can still make out details of her clothes. I think it would be harder to take pictures in these light conditions, but you have managed very well!

Wow...this is pure Grace materialized...
Fantastic silhouette against this marvellous background, the surreal look enhanced by the red-green combination. The lace on her back is just enough to show it's real - if the silhouette was completely black it would have been too much doll-like.

Belle photo de cette femme qui dance, son foulard ainsi positionné donne par transparence une fort jolie couleurs qui tranche bien par rapport a celle verte du fond.

Hi Daniel,
The accomplished compo and the remarkable use of the light and colours combines with the graciousness of the female dancer to produce a lovely image. There is much to like in the photo, but I'll point just the detail of the lace on her back.
I can't tell if she is really a woman or just a dummy, the fact is that she is very gracious, but I confess that I wouldn't think that it isn't a woman if it wasn't for your note.
Pointing the only minor flaw is almost bad tasted, but I hope you don't mind: the slightly purple spot descending from the right of her neck.

this picture really stand out in your gallery because of the flashy colors! splendid splendid shot!very very artistic and visually appealing. You should print that shot and hand it on the wall in your house...

The only problem that I see is the black in her back that is not totally black. At first I thought it was a post-processing problem but then I saw a similar thing on her arm...so I guess it's coming form the light rays...

Red of the cloth that the dancer has hung down shines in a green background, is very impressive.
For me Japanese, it seems in every respect to be an advertisement of a box lunch shop, but a very smart and gorgeous!

I put this one into my favourites as soon as I saw it, a few weeks ago... Absolutely perfect balance of colours and forms, and an infinite grace.
Well, the words "hot bento" is not sooo romantic as the photo is, but that's just a detail.

Beautiful construction of different layers of two primary colors with black.The light playing marvel with the densities of the fabrics.
The mesh in the back of her dress reveals another color, another texture and completes adequatly the composition.
