Ritual Bath II

I really enjoyed the scenery. It was on 1rst of January. So far even a good start of the year for me being in Bali.
Pura Tirta Empul is one of the most important Bali Hindu temple one km north of the Tampaksiring village. It is absolutely worth to visit. Even if this is one of the oldest sites on Bali much of the structures are relatively new, it was completely restored in 1969. People from all over Bali come here to take a bath in the holy water for good health and good luck. Specially on 1rst of January this place is really crowded. |

Hallo Nino. Also: das Photo gefällt mir sehr gut. Ich bin gespannt, was Du noch alles zu zeigen hast. Viele Grüße, wolfgang.

Hi Nino
A very refreshing scene, the spouts of water and the floating flower petals make for a cool feeling when looking at this shot.

This is a capture of a great spontaneous moment in a festival, Nino, Bali seems to be your favorite cultures these day. Knowledge of the culture sure shows in the pictures. regards kevin

Deep in the action, with the people of Bali... Impressive effect. The pov is really pertinent and I wish I could be there, right now...

Actually prefer this to the later posting Nino for it's more intimate feel. The colours look great and the freezing of the water looks very good.
