[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On that Aug 15th 02, this old woman really wanted to go her church which you can see in the distance.
She said she was 80 and almost totally blind hence the sticks, it was around mid-day and she had started her walk 2 hours ago, but she had the utmost trouble going downhill. We then stopped and helped her for the steepest parts, i wonder how she got back home in the evening and how long it took her.

i don't have any better pic of the old woman, though I have shot maybe ten shots on her. For an odd reason it's quite difficult to portray a blind person, on all closer shots she's moving her sticks, her hand's masking her face or whatever. I might have been blind too.

This old woman and the story behind make the whole shot. Perhaps it's subjective, but her image looks very sharp compared to the glutted scenery in the background. I like how you captured her hesitation and the global atmosphere in this very nice one.

The photo is really nice, and takes another dimension with the story.

I like this one, but not as much as some of your previous work. For me, there is no punch in the image. The composition is nice and the old lady is amazing, but apart from that not much else going on here.

Interesting story, and beautiful landscape... I like your composition. It does look pretty steep to go down.
By the way , why are you using paper films instead of slides?..
