To get to samosir island in the middle of lake toba, mostly from parapat. or to go to tuk-tuk will be easier from here. Tuk-tuk is where most of ins and cottage reside in samosir island. The boat from parapat (or tigaraja exactly) is every two hours. or if you want to go there by car, the ferry is in the other way, and will arrived at tomok. With the boat to tuk-tuk, usually will arrived in the hotel you staying in as most of it is by the lake. Cost about Rp. 7,000 for foreigner and Rp. 6,000 for local, the trip less than an hour depends on the wind. Because if the winds blows hard, it will take slower to get to tuk-tuk as the tide will be a little big.
