She just came to wash her hair in the small stream in the background.
As there are not many bathrooms in the little villages of Bali, the small rivers often serve as natural bathrooms late in the afternoon.

Très beau portrait de cette petite fille. Elle a un regard impressionnant que tu as réussi à capter. Bonne profondeur de champ, jolies couleur et grande netteté...que demander de plus?

Vero, this is a wonderful portrait. Shot from a slightly elevated position makes the young girl look upwards and seem even more tiny. It's a great technique. My only criticism is that there is a little too much 'dead' space to the right of the girl. A tighter crop might improve? Overall, excellent. Paul.

De beaux yeux amandes, un petit regard timide (angle de prise parfait pour cela), et un bokeh "a la manny", que demande t' on de plus? Rien.

Cette heure ou les gens ont fini la journee, font leurs ablutions, et restent sue les pas de porte ou les rives des riviere, ou les enfants deviennent des grappes de bonheur, est peut-etre le plus beau moment de la journee en asie, et peut-etre partout ou on prend encore le temps de vivre.

PS: t' es sur que c' est le Canon 50mm 1.8? Ta longueur focale dit 40mm et 2.8. Chez Sigma, y vont pas etre contents! :-)))

Vero bonsoir - quel beau moment que tu as capturé avec ce fabuleux bokeh dans lequel on devine l'eau qui coule et ces grands yeux interrogateurs - la qualité est très haute et les tons de fin de journée sont parfaits -

elle a des yeux incroyables ! grand capital séduction. j'aime aussi comment elle lève son regard vers toi/nous. belle palette de couleurs aussi avec cet arrière plan vert.

hey vero

normally i'd have to say that i really dislike photos of children that aren't eye level. i hate kids looking up into a camera. it's unnatural. HOWEVER, your shot has brought out something nice and that's the big beautiful white eyes she has. it's quite compelling and demands my attention. i like it a lot. great dof also.

Très beau regard. Le décentrage est parfait. Et le choix de la profondeur de champ a la subtilité de suggérer délicatement le ruisseau qui court pas très loin.

On sent qu'il a un véritable échange dans ce regard, l'échange entre le voyageur curieux et cet enfant d'ailleurs. C'est un très beau portrait Véronique !
