Candi Kuning on a grey, dull, day. nb: 'Candi' is always pronounced as 'Chandi'. This attractive Hindu temple, approximating the holy Mt Meru, is located on the shores of Lake Bedugal, in central Bali. I like the colorful fg 'parahu', or outrigger canoe.

Hi Chris, beautiful, evocative shot of this magic landscape in a magic island, the compo is superb, esp. the waters and the boat in foreground; and the 11-storey temple contrasts nicely with the background, both against hill and cloud, thanks for sharing, Daniel

Hi Chris,
I remember I post of yours some time ago, with this kind of attracting roofs. That is one of the things that fascinate me in the Orient. Very good vertical composition, with nice dephness and a good contrast with the storm look of the background. Pleasant natural colours and sharpness. Very well done!

Hi Chris,
I like the place and the composition idea, the foreground boat provides a superb color splash and a balance to the temple, framed a few inches to the left and maybe from a slightly lower PoV it would have been ideal, good scan.

On a dull day but enough light to push the colors. Pretty vibrant subjects you have here Chris. I'm just not sure why you cropped off the little bit of the perahu's bow.

Great composition! I like the different elements, and the way that the boat points at the temple. Nice colour too, with creg contrast, which gives the image some added pop. Well done!

Interesting graphism provided by this uniquely shaped small temple, Chris. Good vertical framing where the boat (a pity it's a bit cropped) and the vivid tree at the left are also nice details. In terms of sharpness it's not top-notch, but it has a pleasant painterly feel overall with vivid colors.
