[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Long time, no post! Nevertheless, I'm back to my country and with some moments I'd like to share with my TE friends!

Kelimutu is a small, but well-known Indonesian volcano in central Flores Island with three summit crater lakes of varying colors.

This photo was taken at sunrise. From this particular point, controling light is a true challenge. I had to use a 3 stop ND grey grad to balance light in a natural way.

Here you can see 2 (turquoise and brown - although with this light it looks black) of the 3 lakes

PS: I appologise for the 500px larger side and watermark in the frame, but some unauthorized use has happened before in other websites (including mine)

The color of the water in the crater is so amazing. That was great luck to get there with the sunrise colors to balance out the strong blue. Great balance and composition.

Beautiful shot from this volcano - the colours are just amazing. I would have been nice to know how high it is and for how long you had to climb to reach this point :O)

great picture and fantastic colours ! i was at kelimutu and i did not get a picture as good as yours ! very nice, although a little too small ! but ok though !
