Photographer’s Note

Title has of course been choosen because of the periodicity of the erruptions of Mount Semeru. Kown as a strombolian volcano, its erruption, depending of the outside temperature, happen every 20 minutes!! Absolutely amaizing and really when beeing at this moment on the top as we were!!
Unfortunatly, shots taken on the top at 5 A.M. are not good enough to be put on TE but one taken just after leaving the top was one of our first uploaded shots
