We all seen how people grow rice but here we see what happens when the rice is ready and is being harvest

The separation of the grass is done also by hand and as you can see is hard and tough job (done by woman)

Hope you like it

Ishai

Hi Ishai,

Nice action in this image and nice to see how they seperate the rice. So many details to look at.

Can imagine it would look great in colour too.

:) Tina

Yo ishai!

Terrific shot! Great movement and energy they are showing, it is also good that you have frozen the shot with the rice scattering in the air. Nice composition, neat and even with a few good interest points for the eye. No matter where you go, the local people always seem to do this job by hand. Man power versus machine power...

Thanks for sharing!

hi ishai, an interesting image and in your favorite b&w climate; i like the way you present those workers, but somehow the lamp and the wires do not fit the scene too well, while i do not object the rider on the left side; wish i could see these things cloned away;
have a nice day, jerzy

Hi Ishai,
Lovely picture...
I think it is not "Kerja sukar" (Difficult work) but "Kerja keras" (Hard Work) :)
PEACE,
Yoga

Hello isha, very instructive image. Here!!! I just have one complain: why so small? Your frame is very nice, but to big. We miss to appreciate many details because of the size. The point of view is really good. You captured the movement with a great quality of definition. The b/w format helps to focus in the woman activity. Well graphically, the image will be more clean with out the cables, but on the other hand, they are part of the scenario. Tfs, Gabriel.

Hi Ishai
Nice daily life picture. The movement is nice. Nice light also.
Well done

i must be honest with you Ishai, i am a bit disappointed by today's post. I think it is overexposed and lack a lot of contrast.

Ciao Ishai
A great image you share with us. The exposure and focus are excellent, as is the composition.
But what I really like is that the cables are running across the frame, and the stylizied street lamps in the background, as it gives a fantastic contrast of the modern times and technolgy versus the hard manual labour of the Rice worker. The choice of title is therefore faultless.
Bravo

Ishai
This photograph is like a documentary piece. The information here tells us a good deal about the culture and work of the people and position of women in society. The black and white picture gives good impact and the shadow has high contrast depth. A very good effort.

Great work picture with sense of strength. Wind is also obvious here, and your timing was excellent.
I like your framing, but on the other hand would like to see the picture bigger. Compromise obviously.

Hi ishai,
great shot, especially the texture, beautiful grey, as the published booklet or a post card. i dont think it was lack constract.
i just wish you could in a little lower angle to make the people fly. but this is very good rurality shot.
Bravo!
