Nice picture. I think you should do the cropping you describes, there to much sand at the bottom.

Nice picture. I like the quiet and calm atmosphere, and the composition done by the wood on right bottom and the boat in the opposite side. I just think it could be more colorful and I also agree that the horizont should be off-centered. But I think you should cut the clouds, not the sand. I've done a workshop.

This photo has a forceful image of nature's power...the menacing sky pitted against that tiny boat on the sea.I tried a workshop experiment with it. However, the shot is equally appealing with the beach included.

If you feel like cropping, crop the sky a little. This image works because of the interesting point of view with the vast beach in such good focus. I like shots with lots of negative space like this. Bravo!

Good composition but this sky is formidable, a pretty water wall has right and a beautiful sky of storm, it is well made.
