Brahmavihara Arama Temple, a photo from Bali, Nusa Tenggara

Photographer's Note

Brahma Vihara Arama is the only Buddhist Temple on Bali Island, it is located at Village Banjar Tegeha, Banjar, Buleleng, it was built at the year 1970.

Brahma Vihara Arama Temple is composed by several buildings, rooms, ponds, pavilions, gardens and stupa. As a temple that built on the slope, visitors need to climb up staircases several times, then walk around for visit the entire temple.

The opposite building is the main worshipping hall that visible after walk through the entrance then follow by the first time stairs climbing. To make this bird view shot, I reach at a higher position after clim up the second staircase that connect to more buildings and garden.

Hi Ally,

You're capturing well this Buddhist temple by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the architecture with yellow tiles and some stone statues. Although it seems that the building was newly built in comparison, it seems to be repaired well. And, the surrounding deep greenery draws out a good atmosphere.

Wonderful light you have here, I can feel the tropical air, the fresh green of the tree. So much to see and to appreciate here with multiple successive layers of temples. Good sharpness and good photo quality, compositonally it is a little confusing, there is nothing to hold our attention.
