I could not resist to upload this picture.
It is already very dark, because the generators on this island only produce light at night for about 2 hours and not everybody can effort that. Normally the kids just hang around or go to sleep at that time. But because we were there, the only lady on the island with a karoake machine organised some welcome party 4 us. It was great. Everytime I think about it, it puts a smile on my face :).
After the karaoke, which the kids found hilarious because propably we could not sing and we led them hear Shania Twain for the first time in their lives, we sat down outside. The kids were so enthousiastic I had to take some pics of them. |

Also a nice one, the fun just comes out of the screen, but I like the other one a little better, it was more interestingly composed.

"Selamat Hari Natal" to you too Merel. The closest word to Merry is Selamat, which literary means "safe" or with an intention of wishing "good luck". I agree with your discussion. We should sit down and think better things. If not for us, but for the children that we see, smiling and happy, around the world at time like this. Maybe being adult, is not really a good thing, if you don't know how to be a better human. We should do and say more, kinder things to others, don't you think.
