When I visited Lombok last year, I went to a traditionnal village.. the local people there are friendly but very shy.. especially when they saw me taking their picture..

This girl many times looking at me and when I pointed my camera to her, she suddenly hide in the bamboo wall of her house.. and finally, I got a chance to capture her while se was looking at me.. and I love those sharp eyes..

Lovely play of DOF here...the bamboo wall plays lovely tricks with our eyes, before her expressive eyes suck us right in! Beautiful portrait & as always your pictures are a lesson for me how to take pictures!

This is a wonderful image indeed.
The contrast of bokeh basket and her sharp expression is very attractive. Is she spoiled by tourist ?
I have no good memory in south Lombok where tourists destroyed thier calm life, anyway----
