Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken at Lake Maninjau, a volcanic lake in West Sumatra. This man had just gone shopping for supplies and was taken it home (well, at least I suppose he was). Little canooes like this one are used by many locals as their main transport. Lake Maninjau is not as famous as Lake Toba, also in Sumatra and it is a very peacefull place...

Nice composition. Maybe needs a little more definition but nice picture in any case.

I like the photo. Perhaps you have added shadow/highlight a bit much, since I notice a faint halo around the fisherman.
Good colors especially the water lines

Strands of vegetation in the left side bottom corner of the picture seem to intrude into this otherwise well shot picture.

Bonita esta Luciana...bonitas formas...mesmo o remo tem uma forma interessante, as vezes parece uma pá carregada de areia, as vezes um remo :) notei que a "aura" em volta da pessoa possa ser algum efeito de photoshop ou é real? não estou julgando, apenas perguntando? acho bonito e fiquei curioso para saber se foi pós-processamento ou é da foto mesmo? lindo tom de azul também.

Perhaps you can sharpen a little bit more, but composition and colors are perfect for me.

Hi Luci. Great photo. Wonderful exotic feel. The FG gasses frame the image well and add depth. Wonderful colours also. Thanks for sharing.
