Lake Maninjao is a clear volcanic lake near Bukittinggi. The drive down into the crater is an amazing trip. Once you get down you have the option of a few homestays and hotels. It was a gray day and this man was tending to his nets.

Very clear photo, the water is as glass, the background a perfect decorum for this man in his typical boat in full spot .... (BTW how do you converse RAW ?)

What a nice shot! Both the foreground and background are interesting.
The reflection on the water are beautiful. The red shirt adds nice touch of color.
I just wish that all the boat reflection would be seen. Any way excellent capture.

Now this is different from your usual frontal shots. A bit like NG kind of shots here. Thoughtful grabshot of natural/daily event of a local, at its elements.

To me the "highlighting" aspect of this composition is the "kelong" or bamboo stockade to trap fishes, in the background.
