Photographer’s Note
This is another picture of Matano Lake Series, Sorowako. I have to re-posted it to enhance the image quality (sharpened, contrast & saturation). It was high noon, you can see the sunlight was so harsh, and the sky was too bright. I should have used point metering on the skin tone to tackle the backlight problem, or a fill in flash maybe, I don't know. I use ISO 80. Thanks for viewing :D

Lake Matano (Indonesian: Danau Matano), also known as Matana, is a natural lake in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is the deepest lake in Indonesia (ranked by maximum depth), and the 8th deepest lake in the world. It is located at 2°29′7″S 121°20′0″E / 2.48528°S 121.33333°E / -2.48528; 121.33333.
Lake Matano is home to many species of endemic fish and other animals as well as many plants. The endemic fishes of Matano have been compared to that of the species swarms of the Rift Valley Lakes of Africa.
