Nice image Mark but they don't have the right jerseys: blue, white & red ;p). The referee is not fully really in the action.

The world will watch this final for sure ... Indonésia too ;o)

Cool shot from your vault eh, Mark? A nice feel for the countryside and the misty hills beyond. It's not everyday we get a peaceful, humorous peek at life in Indoneisa. Nice compo and disposition of your "characters" with those natural colors...

I have always admired the water buffaloes as a team, but I am partial to the oxen. Not a bad shot here, but I feel that you were just a little too far away; it feels a little distant and perhaps dissociated. Will you be waking up early? I will snooze right on through :)

Darren is right when says that we are far from the scene, but I think that is not a problem.
Even looks good in the photo.

I will have to disagree with the previous comments that't far, ok, perhaps you weren't laying between their legs, but it's not taken with a long telephoto, and definetely not too far IMO. I like the setting, animal, background is beautifull, colours very pleasing, the bull (or is it Zidane practicing his best tricks ;-), boy in the back and far right are fine, but the position of the two in the middle obstructing the ball is somewhat bothersome to me, they do have the right poses etc, just wish the whole ball was visible, and the two a bit more spreadout.

Haha, I had to doublecheck where on earth you were posting from, Mark... this is a funny shot with a funny title, but more than that, a superb composition. I love threes together, and this is a perfect example of when they work. Poor little bull, looks so lost there! Hope it wasn't defeated!

I couldn't have put Peter's words better myself...at first glance, the obscured ball takes so much away from this lovely scene. Really nice exposure and beautiful green in contrast to the yellow. Great layers in the backdrop...

lots of things going on here to add interest...I really do like this, although there is something missing for me...perhaps something as simple as your angle...5 Jack Daniels later...I cannot quite put my finger on it...
