Photographer’s Note
This is part of the mountain range with valleys into the central parts of Southern Sulawesi, known for many years as The Celebes. This photo tries to depict the hidden parts up into valleys beyond the 300 metre ranges which extend for hundreds of kilometres north of Makassar, the provincial capital. Eight million people live in this province. Little seems to have changed here in many hundreds of years since Joseph Conrad visited and mentioned these parts in several novels.

Hi Murray
I like the wideangled panoramic format & interesting mountains, but would clean up the yellow green color cast & sharpen edges. Good work overall. Yfs I haven't yet been to Sulawesi.

Nice panoramic view - I love the ominous clouds building in the background. Good placement of the horizon at the lower third of the frame, and I like the small structures dotting the landscape in the background. I did a quick workshop on the photo to correct some issues - hope you don't mind.

Hi Murray!
I am continuing visiting your Indonesia pictures: I like this view of South Sulawes, nice to see mounts growing in the flat valley.
Weather must be often cloudy or rainy, I imagine.
TFS! Ciao
