Photographer's Note
There are similar statues all around the streets in Bali. According to the guide who took us around, the statues are representing the evil kings or enemies that went through there. They were intentionally sculpted to look ugly and ferocious.

Hi Gul,
An interesting sculpture captured with superb light control and attention on details. Well seen and executed work. TFS.

Very good detail photo in excellent light. But IMO it should extended (botton & top) not to cut the obelisk and the top of head cover. The other optiion would be to show 50 - 70% of the statue with full head cover. Very nice image.

Hello Gul,
You're capturing well this statue by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's impressive to see the stone statue with an interesting face. It is visible also like an enemy also like an evil spirit as you note. It is well sculptured to the fine part. And, it may be subject to the influence of Hinduism.
Have a nice day.
Kind regards,
mikio
