Photographer’s Note
These umbrellas were being dressed for a big ceremony the next day. The almost stagnant water reflected the colours nicely and it's the first time I have ever seen a black umbrella used, I've only ever seen white, yellow or red. This is the royal bathing pool so that may be of some significance.

Nice, colorful shot. The umbrellas seem to float on patches of weed. Nice POV and reflections.

Hi John,
Don't know if I'd want to take a swim in there, all that green moss, ugh.
Colourful shot, the umbrellas make for an interesting subject.
Good composition too. The flat light helped the contrast.
Good stuff.
Cheers

Hi John
What an interesting subject! First of all one thinks, why are these umbrellas here? The rest of the photo gives no clue...
A very nice photo and colour capture with reflection and distinct sharpness.

Nice stillife and good capture of Balinese tradition. I like the reflections of the colourful umbrellas.

Lovely warm soft lighting and colours, plus the image gives ideas for all sorts of stories in one's mind. The contrast between the umbrellas and the aging backdrop is nice.
