If you look carefully you will see a guy taking a wash in the ditch.
I took this from our car as we were driving past, along one of the main roads. The image was caught during one of our many trips to Indonesia, this time on a tour of Baliu and Lombok , plus a couple of smaller islands.
The title is down to the fact that in Bali, many of the "bathrooms" (term to be used very loosely) were open air, even in some hotels they have one wall missing, to be replaced by a walled garden. Quite a cool idea in a warmer climate, having a beautiful garden as part of your bathroom.
But I do feel this guy took it to the extreme, being by the side of a main road, lol. Locals in many rural areas of Bali/ Indonesia wash themselves and their clothing etc in the nearest stream or river.
This was taken before I had a strong interest in photography, on a camera I had borrowed.
