Hello,
this is not just any sunset - the structure of the clouds is almost 3D! The light and colors are just unbelievable. The dark shapes of island in the shore make nice add on.

living in a quiet place with vast views to the open sea, I absolutely share your view of the clouds and of how they constantly transform the setting and affect our mood. I wrote in my last comment of your photo,that was one of the most beautiful sunsets I´ve ever seen and now you´re posting something like this-and what should I write now?:)this is so marvelous and beautiful,that it´s hard to find other,maybe not so hackneyed words to describe the beauty of this scene.Love these warm and soft colors so beautifully illuminating the sky and such amazing cloud formations.
It´s all about moments we want to keep forever and immortalize them with our cameras.You described this feeling perfectly in your note.I agree with you in 100%.

Sam sunrise from yesterday's shot, Abmdsudi - I recognize those beautiful clouds - but even more vibrant and incredible color. The way the orange light spills across the sky is amazing - you caught this at a perfect moment (though I'd imagine there were several perfect moments in a row here). The lone boat adds scale and wonder to the scene - imagine being out for daily work and seeing this unfold before your eyes...

Hi Abmdsudi,

You're capturing well this nature scene by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the amazing sky's face with various colors and cloud's shape. I also like to see the expression of the sky which changes every moment. And, the peninsula with silhouette in the distance draws out an additional good mood in this image as well as the sea dyed the setting sun.

When I see a stunning capture of a sunset like this, I cannot help but think of the SDalvador Dali painting of Christ of St John on the cross. Not because of any religious subject matter, but because of the connection between the amazing fluid sky. Your capture has so much more colour than that painting, but it also has the same sense of mood> Really nicely done.

Hello Abmdsudi,
i don't know if the clouds take the most fabulous shapes in the Nusa Tenggara region, or if the colours of the sunsets are the most spectacular in that area, or if it is you who manage better than most to use the clouds and colours to produce little masterpieces of art. I think it is a little of everything. This is magnificent, and actually the contours of the distant island are not bad either.

The sky is really fascinating, with such a wide range of colors, from blue-gray to the orange, the color cast beautifully illuminates the surface of the sea, the coast line is shaping up in the distance gives great DOF to composition.
