This was taken at Lakey Peak in Sumbawa. I saw a storm coming across the bay so i went down to the beach and took some photos of a couple of kids playing in a boat. This kid kept jumping out of the boat when I was trying to take a photo. It was frustrating until I looked at the LCD and realized I'd just snapped a winner. In the background you can see Nungas, a world-class wave peeling across the bay.

Your POV and the colors are just great, capturing at an excellent time. One second before or after, and this shot wouldn't be half as good.

Well they may have been jumping out of the boat, but it also looks as if they are jumping out of the image with the way they look compared to the rest of the darkened scene. Some gorgeous colours here, brilliantly done Van.
