taken from senggigi beach in lombok...
one of the most beautiful sunsets i've ever laid eyes on ;)
in response to your comments:
obviously the two photos are different. they were taken on different times. the one below was taken last June and the other one was taken last January.
this is about sunsets, I don't think there is a need for a foreground subject or anything of that sort. but the palm trees are the other reference here.
sharpening it too much shall yield a very unreal image. which will be against the idea of being "surreal."

I agree. It is indeed very beautiful. Beautifully composed and taken at the right time of the day. Thanks too for the later picture below. I would worry about "spoiling" my picture by providing the workshop. But here it helps to get a better sense of what is going on.

Nice colors, but not too sharp. Maybe some foreground interest would help as well, regards.

The golden glow of this image reaches out to the viewer. Not too sure why there are two images though.
