How many faces can you see?

This picture was taken at a rural school near to where I was staying on Lombok. The teacher invited me into the playground so he could talk with me and so I could take photos of the kids. As you can see they were all very keen.

All of the faces have a different look. There are the cheeky ones, the serious ones and my favourite, the kid who is hiding but you can still see his eyes. Some look at me, some look at each other and some look away. There is something different in every one.

How many? So many! Really nice group. I also prefer the hidden one but the good thing, and difficult thing when they are so many, is that everyone looks nice. Usually, at least when I take the picture!, one or more closed the eyes when the picture was taken. here not. Here they looks all differents and natural.

16! You are right, there are many different expressions, but they all concur to communicate a happy moment in front of the camera. I also see that, like many pix in large groups, there is often one, shying from the "limelight" standing back. Sometimes, he/she gives a sad look, but nothing of the sort here. I bet they made your day!

Nice picture of elementary students with their uniform. I like the expression in face of the kid hiding behind his friends too. Greatly composed. Greatly captured. Great picture.
