In the east Bali (Teganan), there is very famous festival, named by "Peran Pandan"(Stick fighting) in June. Vilagge people are divided to groups, and two person try to hit and rub the "Panadan" (similar to Cactus) to the competitor strongly. This is the very important activity for them and one of the rite of passage.
This is the fourth time for me to witness this festival, but every year the numbers of gallery increasing as per photo. |
