BALINESE CEREMONY, a photo from Bali, Nusa Tenggara

Photographer's Note

I took this photo a week ago when I was in a hunt for a cultural photo, in a region named MAS, near Ubud..
This was a ceremony called "Kuningan" which is held twice a year, a week after ceremony called Galungan..
There was a procession of the balinese with their offering to God..

this is a very beautiful photo indeed.
Good use of DOF, but not cropping it, unusual, because normaly I would crop the portait here, or if I wanted the whole picture, leave the DOF away.
The composition is very interstign becaise of the diagonal.
I'm realy curious about the colours, having seen several of these days, they are absolutely stunning, in beauty and atmosphere.

Elle est superbe cette file d'enfants (+ quelques adultes au fond), le focus sur la petite fille est bien vu... Ce N&B est très réussi.

Beautiful pic. I like the DOF...it seems that the main subject of the photo is the little girl in the middle of the line. I would have increased the contrast a bit I think..but I still like it very much. Well done!
