Photographer’s Note

In Ubud, prayings and dancings for gods are finished, it is late , we are in Puri Lebah temple.
Many people are gone and begins Wayang Kulit, very strange and fascinating performance for the persevering ones who can stayoutside in the dark, with no chairs during 3 hours.
This man holds the very symbolic life tree, and use a loud guttural voice, it's only codes, I don't understand nothing, only penetrated by this bewitching moment.

Une bgrande reussite, Joel, sans la moindre hesitation. Tu partages avec nous la magie primitive du moment, tout, mais alors TOUT conspire dans ce sens - rien n'est clair et pourtant on comprend et on ressent ce mystere.

I like the smooth warm coloring here a lot and the contrasting play of light, amazing the quality by iso-1600, did you undo grains ?
