Taman Ayun Royal Temple literally translates as “The Beautiful Garden”
There are so many temples in Bali that one can easily lost count of them but this one can be the most well kept with a beautiful park surrounding it though not the largest. This temple is situated in the village of Mengwi, Badung regency and was built in 1634 by Mengwi’s first king, Tjokerda Sakti Blambangan.
Religion and temples are the soul of Bali and visitors will miss the essence if they skip these places.

A beautiful temple with beautiful garden. I like the greenery everywhere creating a nice peaceful atmosphere. The orange tone of the entrance and the wall make a nice color contrast. Superb colors and sharpness.
